Universidades en Alemania

If you are looking to study in Germany, then you are probably aware of the excellent educational system and the large variety of programs.  What is often not understood about the German University system is that all the Universities operate at the same level. A degree in for example Mechanical engineering from one University is at the same level as every other mechanical enginering degree from any other German University.

There are big famous public Universities such as TU Munich or KIT which have thousands of students and are therefore well known, but smaller public Universities offer the same degree standard. It is therefore more important to choose a University that will support you and where you can afford to live - rather than going for a University which has a big name.
