Accommodation for ISL students
We have apartments for 275 students in Koblenz with the following features:
- Single apartments (with own bathroom/kitchen etc..)
- Shared apartments (kitchen/bathroom shared) with single bedrooms or twin bedrooms
- All fully furnished and equipped (bed linen, towels, vacuum cleaners, plates, pots, cutlery, fridge, washing machines, etc...)
- All within 1 km of the school (90% within 250m of the school) - so no need for bus tickets
- Professional cleaning service
- All with Wifi
- Students stay with ISL for the first 2 months and then have the option to stay longer
- 3 facility managers looking after everything that breaks/goes wrong
- Emergency number in case you need assistance 24 hours per day

Single bedroom in a shared apartment : Euro 690 per month
Twin bedroom in a shared apartment Euro 510 per month

Cost of accommodation
In the last 10-15 years the price of apartments in Germany has risen dramatically. In Munich, Berlin and other bigger cities it is not uncommon to pay Euro 20 per square meter in rent per month plus heating etc.. That means you might need to pay over Euro 1000 per month for a very small place to live.
Most students cannot afford this - so they either have long and expensive distances to travel each day or they study at smaller ciites.
Some of the Universities provide state sponsored accommodation for University students (not language students) - but the number of places here is also limited.
